GREGG RUSSELL

For almost thirty years Gregg Russell has been entertaining children and families in Hilton Head, South Carolina from his permanent venue in Harbour Town, based at the world famous Sea Pines Resort. Throughout his career Gregg has performed a variety routine of songs and comedy in front of many millions of people and has developed a national fan base that is best described as being fanatical about their love for Gregg. He has developed a national reputation as being one of the premier talents in the family entertainment genre. Gregg has recorded a library consisting of more than fifteen CD’s and videos as well as developing, producing and starring in Camp Tanglefoot, a feature length movie that has received national acclaim as being the “Best Children’s Video of the Year 2001”, as voted by a major bookseller’s organization.

Gregg has performed across the country as well as having been featured on CBS, the USA Network and PBS throughout his career and has recently written and produced the music for the award-winning and nationally televised PBS series, Dooley and Pals. He has been a family entertainment advocate for many decades and is an experienced and outspoken voice in the field of wholesome family entertainment projects.

To this end Gregg has recently been a producer and on screen star of a theatrical release feature length movie entitled Come Away Home in concert with the other Managers in this Fund.The movie has received substantial critical acclaim from children's and family based organizations such as the Dove Foundation as well as several other important

family advocacy groups, and was also recently named as the “Best Family Drama” feature film at he International Family Film Festival. Gregg has been one of the major driving forces behind the film’s success.

His experience as an entertainer and performer will add a great deal of frontline experience to the Fund’s management team, from a performance, management as well as talent and project assessment perspective. His keen eye for project evaluation coupled with his fundamental belief in the family genre should prove to be valuable assets to the Fund’s management team.

As the co-owner of High Tide Entertainment, Gregg has been responsible for producing over 100 major concerts featuring artists such as The Doobie Brothers, Crosby Stills & Nash, Kenny Loggins, The Beach Boys, Tony Bennett, Earth Wind & Fire, Kenny Rogers, Journey and many more. His years of hands-on production experience and expertise as a concert producer will serve the Management Team well.
